Patient Transformation Stories: WLS Saved Jordan's Life!
Description
"If this doesn't motivate someone to take control of your life and future, then not sure anything will. 80 pounds (and 5 months) ago I would not have felt this acorn sized lump in my breast. I am thankful for going through weight loss surgery. It has already saved my life. I feel free and can truly live again. But it very well could have saved my life in a way I least expected. This is the face of someone who is about to kick cancers ass. If you've ever read my story (on Instagram @Jordantaylorsjourney) you know some of this, but I am 5 years out from being cancer free-after cancer invaded my thyroid and lymph nodes. Yesterday (11/17/2020), after 2 weeks of anxiety and prayer, I was diagnosed with breast cancer that has spread to my lymph nodes. Many of you don't know me personally but let me tell you, I'm one of the toughest people you'll ever know. I've been through a lot at just 34 and I have come out on the other end every time stronger than I was at the start. I am mad that I am not done with my weight loss journey and that I'm afraid this is going to make me gain etc, and that's going to be a really hard mental challenge. If y'all want me to bring you along this journey-I will, and I will welcome all of the cheerleaders and prayer warriors that I can get." -Jordan Follow Jordan's journey on Instagram @jordantaylorsjourney
