Patient Transformation Stories: Crystal's New Life & Story
Description
Before my surgery, I had no life. I could not walk my dogs, or climb stairs, it impacted my degenerative disc disease so much that I was always in a wheelchair. I could not afford clothes because I was in a size 30. I could not take a bath because I could not fit in the tub, so I had to have a shower chair (heavy- duty) to take a shower. I could not paint my toes, fit in an airplane seat nothing. My quality of life was awful. How long were you considering Weight Loss Surgery before you came in? A few years, my insurance constantly turned me down, but when my depression became so bad that suicide came into play I did everything I could to go ahead with my surgery. What was it like to work with our team? From day one until now they treated me just like family. D. Cribbins literally saved my life! Describe your life now, after Weight Loss Surgery. I can walk, buy clothes, and ride on a plane. I can get on the floor with my dogs and play with them. I have never been able to wear a size 16 and now I can!! I have a life now!
