Our Bariatric Support Groups
Undergoing weight-loss surgery is an important, life-changing decision. That’s why our hospitals offer a number of programs to help support you on your journey. The support groups are free and facilitated by licensed professionals experienced with weight loss and the weight loss journey. No matter what type of weight loss surgery you have had, our support group provides the opportunity to surround yourself with people who understand and support your goals.
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Frisco
These meetings are typically the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6-7 pm in POB 2 in Classroom 1. Check their website for updates and changes.

Bariatric Support Group
This group meets the first Thursday of the Month from 6-7 pm in MOB 2, the Bluebonnet Room, which is located directly across from the elevators on the first floor. Check their website for updates and changes.

BariNation
BariNation is the most comprehensive patient support program with industry leading licensed therapists and certified dietitians leading both closed and open groups online. You are not alone in this life changing journey. There are several meetings each week with different topics and an online app to stay connected. Social support has proven to be one of the best predictors of success for a lifestyle change and is an important predictor of sustained weight loss. Therefore, all patients and potential patients, as well as spouses or other supportive people in their lives, are encouraged to attend the monthly support group meetings.
